- 12 ounces pasta
- 1 package (5.2 ounces) Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup reserved pasta water
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- Extra Parmesan, for serving
- Red pepper flakes, optional
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.
- Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain the pasta.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add garlic and cook for 30–60 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and add Italian seasoning and black pepper.
- Simmer gently for about 2 minutes.
- Reduce the heat and add the Boursin cheese.
- Stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Gradually add Parmesan cheese.
- Add reserved pasta water as needed.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss until evenly coated.
- Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
- Serve immediately.

- Keep the heat low when melting Boursin.
- Freshly grated Parmesan gives the smoothest sauce.
- Reserve pasta water before draining.
- Taste before adding extra salt.
- Don’t boil the cream sauce.
