Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • Whisk together the dry ingredients.
  • Mix the mashed sweet potatoes, butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla, and milk.
  • Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Stir in any optional mix-ins.
  • Transfer the batter to the loaf pan and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
  • Bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Cool for 10–15 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
